About the Program:

There are many ways to assess the quality of materials received from a supplier. In addition to looking at traditional measures such as delivery performance and defect rates, one can also look at the appraisal cost, and additional costs associated with handling failures.

Among the topics to be presented:
- Cost of Quality Basics
- The Cost Model used
- Cost Elements
- Data elements required
- Assembling the Cost of Quality report
- Using the results to reduce overall costs

About the Speaker:

Keith has experience as an Electrical Engineer, Aerospace Test Engineer, Software Engineer and Certified Quality Engineer. He hold a BSEE from RIT in Electrical Engineering and has been a member of ASQ Rochester section since 1995.

Keith developed Kodak Equipment Division first computerized Supplier Quality Tracking system. He implemented many methodologies and reports to identify and track improvement of poor performing suppliers including Cost-of-Quality.

You do not have to be an ASQ member to attend. All are welcome. Membership forms are available at each meeting. For more information about ASQRS including membership, contact Section Chair Vince Vezza, vincevezza@frontiernet.net
