Not all business structures may legally provide professional engineering services in New York State. The discussion will provide a brief descriptions and basic information on common acceptable organizational structures for licensed professionals, such as a professional service corporation (PC), or a professional service limited liability company (PLLC). This general information primer is no substitute for consulting the law and/or an attorney directly for guidance before deciding to practice in a specific corporate arrangement.
