Continuing Education Web Series RES is offering a courses monthly to support the engineering community. Each Continuing Education Session will consist of three educational 1-hour webinars with two eligible for PDH's. Engineering Symposium in Rochester (ESR) Monroe Professional Engineering Society & RES On April 7, 1926, 14 licensed engineers and surveyors formed the New York State Society of Professional Engineers (NYSSPE). Three years later, the Monroe Professional Engineering Society (MPES) chapter was created. The organization strives to "promote social and economic welfare of the Engineering profession, develop continuing education opportunities, and raise awareness of the profession among [the] youth." With support from RES and several other local engineering societies, MPES runs the Engineering Symposium in Rochester (ESR). This event has opportunities to attend formal sessions of various engineering topics. In addition to learning in depth concepts, attendance will count towards the needed 36 continued education hours as a Professional Engineer. News for 2025: Engineering Symposium in Rochester 2025 Annual Professional Engineering Conference for up to 6 PDH April 10, 2025 In Person at the RIT Inn and Convention Center 6 PDH Credits Early Registration will be $150 There will be a limited breakfast, beverage service, and lunch provided. The on-site bar and restaurant is available after 5 PM for networking as a separate activity.
